We're on a roll!!

Pakistan won the match against Sri Lanka, and AUSTRALIA!! Can you believe it? I wouldn't have if I wasn't there to witness it ;)
Good going team, you've done me proud. I see a completely new unit, one that never says die, and fight out the match.
Special mentions: Misbah-ul-Haq. Really impressive, with two 50's... I think this guy feels no pressure at all!! And if he does, he has a good head on his shoulders and has good sense.
Shoaib Malik. A senseful captain, and has been delivering good captain's innings recently.
Younis Khan was brilliant with the bat against Sri Lanka, and has a wonderful, safe pair of hands. Ever the energetic too, always smiling and laughing.
Shahid Afridi :D When he's not into it with the bat, he's ready with the ball... and always involved in the field. He's been great in both games with the ball and on the field :)
And last but not the least, our fielding standards have lifted up a lot. Keep it up guys! You rock!!
We're in the semifinals now; The first semi-final will be Pakistan vs...?? xP
The next match: Wednesday 20th September, vs. Bangladesh. Keep cool, and do good :)

To vote or not to vote; Is it a fair process?

Yup, I'm all in the hot debate these days too; Is voting really a fair process?
All these talent shows going on these days want the people to vote and choose, and while I think the concept is right, I really can't figure out why it isn't working. Seriously.
Lets face it, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala (who admitted it as well) are here because the judges saw their potential, and saw what they could become.
These days, I feel most votes go out as favours, being from the same region. Talent gets overshadowed.
What are your opinions, ppl?

Something for all the Toshi Fans :)

Yup guyz, he's not disheartened. A strong and humble person he is though.
Here's the interview:

...And here's anothes one :)

God bless, Toshi; and may you achieve all the success you deserve. Your fans are with you all the way :)

Yes I'm a big Toshi fan *rolleyes*

P.S... It's said he's finiishing a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan song... and eagerly waiting to listen to the composition?? Details, anyone? :)

Pak-India match tie; India win bowl-owt

Hmm... should I say I was really happy or apalled?? As far as the match went, I thought we did quite good.
One thing I have to say is that I witnesed something in the green team yesterday that I have rarely seen before; it was the fighting spirit. Usually when a game enters this close a region of runs needed from delieveries, our team just lose their shine. But yesterday when Yasi Arafat entered the fray and supported Misbah Ul Haq, they made me proud.
And of course so did Asif; He was unstoppable yesterday.
So why am I apalled? because of our bowlers!! They set the standards straight; India proving their bowlers play for wickets and our bowlers bowl just blindedly. xP
Now I know that whenever the supporters were frustrated with the bowlers not bowling staright or at a targeted area, there was nothing the bowlers could actually do; they dont know how to target!!!
Oh well... atleast we're in the Super 8's; good luck to the Green Team!

Kudos to you guys, keep bringing us adorability for eternity ;)

First day of Ramadan

*sigh* No amount of dieting can harden you enough for the first day of fasting, man. All I could think of was food, chocolate milk, and pepsi... and when I wasn't thinking bout those, I had a terrible tummy-ache!
So I took shelter by being busy. And Wallah, once you get busy in the kitchen preparing for Iftar, you forget all 'bout being hungry. So cheers everyone!! And Ramadan Mabrook ;)

Star Voice of India: And the next elimination is (*drumroll*)...

Believe me, I wouldn't have cared 'bout this show had Toshi not been there :P And I'm hoping hard that he's the one who comes back through wildcard...
It surely was unjust that he left so early in the show; I would want him to atleast be in the top 5. I'm not gonna say all out that he has to be the ultimate voice of India, but his talent doesn't deserve to leave this way. There's still a long journey ahead for him. There are a few others who I think (IMHO) don't deserve to sit there. One has no self confidence or performing sense at all, and the other has had a controversy pulled on her twice. And among these people, it was Toshi who had to leave.
Anyways, I do know who the next elimination is, and again, I'm gonna stress that the other two I have semi-mentioned up there should be chucked out first. Oh well... chaos is what you get when a brand new show wants the audience to vote.... xP

Pak vs. Scotland, World Twenty-20, 12/9/07

Yup... my team won!! Yayhoo!!!
Well, comparing the standards of the Pakistani team and the Scottish cricket team, I myself can't believe I am actually rejoicing. But then, my team have a habit to get you to eat your words thoroughly, whether you're against them or supporting them (yeah, they are that unpredictable).
Things started tumbling from the start for the green team, and it wasn't until Younis came in that we got some solidarity. And then Afridi... well, I'm such a big supporter of him, and he really did make me all twirly by piling up 22 runs in just 7 deliveries and about 5 minutes :P
Then he comes back to pick 4 wickets; deservedly the man of the match.
Credit where it should be; Scotland did real good to skittle Pakistan at the start :)
The next big game: Pakistan vs. India, 14/09/07. Again, if I say something supporting my team, or against them, I'll be eating my words later on...
... Oh what the heck. I'm a die-hard fan, so Good luck to Pakistan!! We'll beat em up good!! :D

'lo peeps :)

Here's another blog.spot on the 'net. It's something that I've been wanting to do for a long while, but (guilty as charged,) I've been waaayy too lazy :P Aren't we all at a time?

Anyways, welcome to my blogspot. I've no idea on how to start blogging, so I'm just gonna go along with my instinct :P
